Glimpses into a Quest
My journey... my tribe
I will take this journey with my new tribe. We support each other, we share and I can see that maybe… just maybe… I’m not alone in this crazy world.
Where am I now - and where am I going?
Before I know where I want to go, I need to know where I’ve come from. Then I can vision my future, and the bridge between the two starts to reveal itself.
My breakthrough
Supported by the tribe, I am able to meet and discover aspects of myself I never knew were there.
Discovering a new me
Supported by the tribe, I am able to meet and discover aspects of myself I never knew were there.
I discover the life I was born to live
With my new tribe and new-found knowledge of self, my life begins to look exciting.
A well designed program
The Quest program will take you on a journey, it will challenge you, but support you to commit and follow through on what you discover and learn about yourself and your future direction in life.
Not a textbook team
I really appreciated the facilitators and their real-life experience.
An adventure
Half way through my Quest we step out of the inner work and go on an outer adventure into the jungle or up a river. Along the way, I might even find time to truly relax, have fun and simply enjoy the moment.
A clear plan
Having left behind my comfort zone I now step into the person I am meant to be and suddenly… my plan is clear. At the Quest, no one tells me what to do, I’m simply supported to find my own truth.
Getting out of my own way
I discover what my self-sabotaging behaviours are so I can learn to work with myself instead of against myself to achieve the plan I have created for my life.
My stuff… our stuff
We all have our own stuff going on, but we all share things in common as well, which can make the process of dealing with it all a little easier
Testimonials
Ten Years On – Participants Look Back
“The Quest put me on the path to where I am now. I learned that I wanted to be a counsellor and now I work for a community mental health organisation supporting people with mental illness on their recovery journey. The Quest really did for me exactly what it said it would.”
Sonia Dempsey, Australia
“The team building aspect of the Quest has helped me to work well with other people. It definitely gave me the confidence that I had the ability to do and achieve things. I achieved my goal to be a pyrotechnician and now run my own business.”
Lucas Armytage, Australia
“The Quest helped me to confirm me to better understand who I am. I now work as an independent film producer with my own production company, completing my first feature length documentary.”
Hamilton Pevec, Canada
“What came out of the Quest for me was to do fashion. I moved to London and studied fashion design and technology for four years. I am currently the Program Director of the fashion design department at an international design college in Jakarta and planning to focus now on my own label.”
Audrey Sillem, Netherlands
“As a young adult I needed extra support in life and the Quest gave me that. I loved the combination of indoor workshops and adventure in the jungle and our last day performances were all just magic! The Quest made me strong, confident and reborn. It truly gave me a boost.”
Aisjah Sillem, Netherlands
“During the Quest I realised I wanted to build things. I went to England to work on an old estate refurbishment and to Spain to renovate a sixteenth century Moorish building. I then studied engineering and building construction and now I am working on my first solo renovation project”
Fred Jenkins, Australia
“My goals when I left the Quest weas to achieve certain objectives in college, such as making strong connections with people, becoming more confident and becoming more of a leader. I struggled in the beginning, but have since grown into myself and the type of person I want to be.”
Ryan Hubbard, USA
“The Quest was like an opening for me. I found the strength from the group and came out of my shell. I wanted to pursue a career in television and video production and have now done that professionally for the last 8 years. I feel privileged to have been a part of the Quest.”
Michael Troxell, USA
“I am now working as a Naturopathic Physician and love it! I know the Quest steered me away from the hard sciences and more towards plants and nature. Nature is my true love. I knew that already, but I think being in the jungle changed my outlook on life.”
Heather Crider, USA
“For me the Quest was like group therapy and I learned I really like therapy! I felt it was a gift the facilitators gave me, I wanted to give that gift to others so I studied social work and therapy and now work with addicts in the criminal justice system. The Quest was very powerful.”
